Digital Assessments in 7th Grade Science

Problem Identified: Students struggle with awareness of their level of mastery for a particular learning outcome as we are covering it in class.

Hypothesis: If assessments are more visible and engaging then students will be more aware of their development related to the learning outcome as measured by the number of students who can identify whether or not they have mastered an outcome.

Actionable Step: Including tech oriented assessments that give students instant feedback while engaging them in the assessment. (For example, using Quizizz or Google Forms).

Overall Findings/Impact: Overall it seemed successful. More students were able to identify their shortcomings and strengths regarding the Anatomy & Physiology curriculum.
